Early Years Practitioner

Our recently graded OUTSTANDING nursery (May 2023) currently has a new vacancy for an Early Years Practitioner due to the promotion of the current postholder, to provide high quality care and learning opportunities for children age 3 months to 5 years old. We are looking for someone fun, flexible and willing to learn.
We are seeking team players who want to continue to develop their excellent early years practice. Fantastic opportunities for professional development and training available. We are a trauma and attachment aware school, a Forest school and SEND Hub. We are a large nursery team who are dedicated in supporting young children to grow. We would love you to join us and find out for yourself how much we care about our staff, children and families.
Our staff benefit from 24 days annual leave per year plus bank holidays (based on full time), increasing after the 5th year of service. This is a fixed-term role (could become permanent), 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year with a salary range of £24,405 - £25,430 (Grade C).
The Centre is open from 7.45am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. Hours of work will be on a shift basis to cover these opening hours.

Our recently graded outstanding nursery (May 2023) currently has a vacancy for a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to provide support for children aged from 3 months to 5 years old. The ability to demonstrate initiative, to be flexible and to work as part of a team are all essential skills required for this role.

Our OUTSTANDING nursery currently has a vacancy for a Co-opted Governor to join our enthusiastic and forward-thinking Governing Body.
Governors are strategic leaders within schools and have a vital role in making sure every child gets the best possible education.
Governing bodies have a strong focus on three core functions:
Our Governing Body currently meet once a month, except for August and December. As Governor you would attend these meetings, having read the information shared before and be ready to ask questions and find out more. Visits to the schools also form part of the monitoring role and some Governors have individual special responsibilities.
No one Governor is expected to know it all and we work together as a team to support one another, bringing our own strengths and areas of interest. Our shared skill is our commitment and interest in our children’s futures and achieving the best for all.
Being a school governor is a very rewarding volunteer role that affords you the knowledge that you are giving back something to the local community. It offers great opportunity for personal development and learning new transferrable skills.
