Receptionist
We are looking to recruit a friendly, welcoming and flexible receptionist to join our busy office team. The successful candidate will help support the administrative team in providing an effective and professional reception service which meets the needs of all our parents, carers and children.

This role will provide cover on an ad-hoc, when needed basis to ensure the smooth running of the reception area. The hourly rate range is based on the HCC B grade. A further 12.07% will be added to the hourly rate to cover holiday entitlement.

The Centre is open from 7.45am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

We currently have vacancies for casual staff to provide high quality care and learning opportunities for children age 3 months to 5 years old. We are looking for people who are fun, flexible and willing to learn. Haven Nursery School is an OUTSTANDING nursery school as graded by Ofsted in May 2023.
We are seeking team players who are looking for a professional role but without a full commitment. You will be able to continue to develop your excellent early years practice with fantastic opportunities for professional development and training available. We are a trauma and attachment aware school, a Forest school and SEND Hub. We are a large nursery team who are dedicated in supporting young children to grow. Governors are strategic leaders within schools and have a vital role in making sure every child gets the best possible education.
Governing bodies have a strong focus on three core functions:
Our Governing Body currently meet once a month, except for August and December. As Governor you would attend these meetings, having read the information shared before and be ready to ask questions and find out more. Visits to the schools also form part of the monitoring role and some Governors have individual special responsibilities.
No one Governor is expected to know it all and we work together as a team to support one another, bringing our own strengths and areas of interest. Our shared skill is our commitment and interest in our children’s futures and achieving the best for all.
