Nursery Meals
As a Nursery and Day Care facility, we take a pro-active approach to the wellbeing of young children and their families. Our belief is that a balanced, healthy and nutritious diet is important for a child’s physical growth as well as their general development, including the ability to learn new skills, enjoy eating and improving future life chances.
Eating healthily helps children with their concentration levels – which in turn affects their development and achievement.
Food is also an opportunity to learn: about sharing and having a meal with others, using knives and forks, and about healthy eating and food.
We currently source our Lunch and Tea meals from the company, 'Hungry Monsters'. Their meals are freshly cooked and delivered to us daily by their friendly team. Hungry Monsters specialise in catering solely for nurseries and preschools and their attention to nutritional requirements for young children is second to none. They believe in providing a broad range of flavours and ingredients and incorporate regional specialities in their menus, alongside traditional British favourites. Hungry Monsters take great pride in providing for any special dietary requirements and allergies and carefully scrutinise all of their ingredients for any allergens.
Breakfast is sourced from Tesco and served by our practitioners, where children are encouraged to self-serve in order to continue developing their skills in independence.
**Please note - Hungry Monsters provide a 3 week rolling menu for both Lunch and Tea. During week commencing 18th March 2024, 'Menu A' is provided**

We have been rated as Very Good by the Food Hygiene Agency
