Accessibility

The approach to the Centre building is generally flat.  There are 3 clearly marked spaces for disabled blue badge holders located immediately adjacent to our main entrance.  Our main entrance area has automatic doors, and our reception desk is at an accessible height.  If you have any queries or feel that you might require assistance, please call in advance and we will be delighted to help.

By Car

We are located close to the main A32 Fareham to Gosport road, and adjacent to Bedenham Primary School on the corner of Harris Road and Bridgemary Avenue. (Sat Nav postcode PO13 0UY)

We have a small car park on site which is for permit users only (please see Car Park Policy below). Parking is extremely limited, therefore, if possible, we would always encourage accessing the Centre on foot. This has the least impact on the environment and on our neighbours. It is also, of course, the healthiest option! Alternative parking is sometimes available in the surrounding roads or in the free car park at nearby Bridgemary Park (1 minute walk away).  Please park safely and considerately, bearing in mind the access needs of local residents, many of whom are elderly.  

​By Bus

Haven is located near to a number of bus routes, in particular, the Bus Rapid Transit System (see the Eclipse website for times and other details) runs very close to the Centre with a stop at nearby Cameron Close (1 minute walk away).  Routes E1 and E2 provide a direct link from the Gosport ferry, Fareham railway station and Fareham town centre.
 

Cycle

We have a cycle shelter located next to our main entrance.  Gosport is well served by cycle paths, enhanced by the opening of the BRT route which is accessible to cyclists.  Haven is roughly a 20 minute cycle from Gosport town centre, with the majority of the route covered by dedicated cycle path provision. ​​​
